Program Description

Rising Star Winter Academy is a youth indoor futsal training program designed to reinforce and build quality technical skills and tactical concepts for young players in order to enhance their performance and confidence. 

 

This is the perfect program for young players looking to supercharge their development and prepare them for success in spring club soccer tryouts, school soccer and competitive environments in the future.

Rising Star Winter Academy offers a proven curriculum, based on the mentorship of legendary Brazilian futsal coach, Sergio Adriano Gomes (with whom our Director, Jason Sisneros has studied with and trained under). We maximize every player's touches and time with the ball while combining fun individual and small-sided challenges to keep young players engaged while honing their technical skills, ball mastery and decision-making . 

 

The program runs 8 weeks, providing 2x65 minute sessions each week inside the comfort of the indoor gym facility at Culbreth Middle School. Our Friday night session focuses on training skills and concepts and our Sunday game session focuses on applying skills and concepts from training into the demands of small sided and full sided futsal matches.

The coach to player ratio is kept at a low (6:1) in order to ensure each player gets significant attention and time on the ball. Everything we teach is designed to apply to both futsal/indoor soccer and outdoor soccer.  Only 12 spots for each cohort are available, early registration is recommended. Don't miss out this winter!
